General knowledge about laser technology
The concept of a laser was first invented by Charles Townes and
Arthur Schawlow in 1958 while working at Bell Labs, but first laser
was not built until 1960 by Theodore Maiman. Since that time many
improvements and innovations have occurred, and today there are
thousands of lasers being used in medical, industrial,
telecommunication and defense applications. A laser differs from
other light sources (flame, flashlight, lightbulb or LED) in that
the light it produces is very directional or coherent. This allows
the light to project in a beam or narrow cylinder instead of
randomly illuminating in all directions simultaneously. Lasers also
emit light over small ranges or at single wavelengths. The
wavelengths can be attributed to colors of the light and are
usually based on the laser type.
CO2 lasers can emit at 10.55um- 10.63um and 9.3um which is very
deep in the infrared.

is 25℃,everytime the laser temperature rises 1℃,the output power
will reduce 1%.

1. 48V 30A power supply must ground connected.
2. Pay attention to the dust proof of the laser output
window,prevent the lens burn caused by dust pollution, especially
when the output window is upward.
3. Prevent the back reflection of laser,any back reflection will
cause the damage of laser.
4. We suggest to fix either front end or back end of the laser
tube, but don’t fix them both when you assemble, the purpose is to
prevent the laser cavity shape distortion being caused by
heat-expansion and cold-contraction during use.
5. The fans are suction type, please make sure the heat sink has
sufficient space(more than 3CM) for ventilation and cooling purpose
